Reasons for doing the ride:

My fiancées Dad (Ian Skinner) had a double lung transplant at the Freeman in July 2014. Sadly after a three week battle he passed away. We raised £1500 for Freeman Heart and Lung Transplant Association running the marathon last year and are ready for our next challenge. We want to support any charities working with transplant patients/families/staff and who raise the profile of organ donation.

 Cycling experience/miles per day:

Commutes 30 miles few times per week and have done 2 day coast to coast

Profile:

I’m a physiotherapist working in North Yorkshire. I used to play rugby but took up running and cycling over the past few years and completed the great north run and Yorkshire marathon last year. I also love cycling and commute up to 30 miles a day a few times a week
