Reasons for doing the ride:
Husband to a heart transplant recipient and therefore this is very close to me and ideally combines with my cycling hobby
Cycling experience/miles per day:
Keen cyclist. Cycle min three times per week. When not cycling I run. Done several sportives and run half marathons.
In my early forties. Keen cyclist and husband of Louise who received a life saving heart transplant at the Freeman in Newcastle in Oct 2013. I live in Chester Le Street in the North East. I spend a lot of time working in Bristol. For all these reasons this seems a perfect opportunity for me to make a small contribution in raising the important profile of organ donations.
